Dear Friends, Colleagues and Associates:
After celebrating our 40th Anniversary and hosting the Valley’s seventh national championship game, we’re already
looking forward to another highly rated postseason match-up with the Insight Bowl and Tostitos Fiesta Bowl.
As you may know, the Fiesta Bowl has retained its place in the Bowl Championship Series and has been reaffirmed
its NCAA license. While the issues facing the Fiesta Bowl have garnered a great deal of attention recently, the
sweeping financial and governance reforms adopted by the Board of Directors have mostly gone unreported. These
changes, along with new executive leadership, are aimed at restoring the trust of our valued stakeholders – and
no stakeholder is more important than you.
Another critical change with the organization focus is to dramatically increase our charitable giving, a cornerstone
of the Fiesta Bowl’s mission. Rest assured that revenue from ticket sales will help support worthy causes throughout Arizona.
This is a great time to get involved with the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl and Insight Bowl. In each of the next two years,
the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl has the first at-large selection in the Bowl Championship Series. But while the Tostitos
Fiesta Bowl is jumping up in the selection order, we’re holding the line on ticket prices for the game. In 2010,
The Insight Bowl set an attendance record with 53,453 at Sun Devil Stadium for the Missouri – Iowa game. This year
the 23rd Annual Insight Bowl will host the third selection from the Big 12 versus the third selection from the Big
Ten Conference.
On behalf of the Fiesta Bowl Committee, I welcome the opportunity to discuss these opportunities with you or to have
a general conversation about the Fiesta Bowl Festival and how we may be able to involve your company in some of our
communities’ premier events. Whether your organizational goals include branding, hospitality, or a combination of both,
the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, Insight Bowl and Festival of College Football offers a wealth of opportunities that can be
customized to fit your needs.
As a proud member of the Arizona business community for over 19 years, I would enjoy the opportunity to speak with you
about how the Fiesta Bowl can help enhance your visibility with clients. Thank you.
